J.LO Tops Chart After Eight Years
New American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez blasted back onto the Billboard Hot 100 on Thursday with her highest debut in more than eight years as On The Floor grabbed the No. 9 position.
It marks Lopez's first top 10 as a lead artist since the four-week No. 1 All I Have, featuring LL Cool J, in 2003. That song also marked her previous highest debut, having arrived at No. 25 at the end of 2002.
Her Island Def Jam label synched its digital release with the premiere of its video on Thursday's Idol episode. The song, with Pitbull as a featured vocalist, precedes the 19 April release of Lopez's seventh album, Love?
